Story

This artwork was created with such a playful flow. I was having images of avatar forests and the “tree of life” passing by through the process. I really believe we create our own reality, depending on which perspective we choose to look from. My preference is to look upon life through the perspective of magic, it is literally everywhere if you open up your eyes for it. This artwork is a reminder of this enchanted energy connecting the world as one.

The base is painted with big brush strokes in a very fluid way, creating a translucent background.  The tree roots and stems are running over the canvas in intricate patterns and formations, darker shades creates depth and a flavour of mystery. The small dots running across the painting is a playful dance of energy, a pixelated version of reality as illuminated atoms. The white threads are linear elements of light connecting the dimensions of space and earth. Finally the canopy of leaves is creating a framework for the composition which lifts the observer off the ground to the treetop.
